Political Club : records, 1786-1790.

Records include the club's constitution, rules, minutes, attendance rosters, treasurer's reports, resolutions and questions discussed at meetings, and correspondence. Also included is a rare and possibly unique printing of the U.S. Constitution annotated by club members. In addition there is an incomplete history of the club by Thomas Speed, grandson of one of the members; and ballots of an election held by the Kentucky Society for Promoting Useful Knowledge, 1787-1788.
